This customer in Wimborne reached out to us as his timber deck was rotting and in need of replacement, as did the framework and lining surrounding his fish pond.
Whilst the fish had a temporary holiday in a paddling pool nearby, the project was undertaken. All the old rotting timber was carefully taken up and disposed of within the first day - giving ample time to set about creating the customer's desired (like-for-like) design. The customer opted for tanalised timber, a cost-effective option also very in keeping with the property's country style surroundings.
A few minor alterations to the deck shape were made to give the customer easier access in and out the rear garden area, along with the installation of a new custom-made timber gate. The way the edging board was installed surrounding the perimeter of the deck was also altered, creating a more seamless aesthetically pleasing finish.
Despite some typical January weather, it was a great opportunity to showcase the skills needed to efficiently carry out a project of this nature.
